Haroldo Jacobovicz founded Horizons Telcom in 2010 a telecommunications company in Brazil that uses a 100% fiber network. He is a civil engineer and in 2020 the data center at Horizons Telecom offered cloud operations and connectivity to their customers. He founded three companies that brought solutions to problems with information technology.
Both Haroldo Jacobovicz parents were engineers, and he grew up seeing them design some interesting buildings. In college he founded a business that helped companies automate their industry and cash management systems. During this time, he learned the value of pitching to the right customers.

Larger companies saw the value of automating cash management systems and he was later hired by Exxon Mobil. system. At Exxon Mobile Haroldo Jacobovicz became a marketing analyst and later served as the head of new business and commercial procedures. He found larger companies more open to automated cash management system. All his experience collaborating with other companies lead to his creating Horizons Telecom. He says he would have studied harder in school but felt the pressure to earn money coming from a large family. He wishes he had studied more languages, studied abroad, obtained an MBA and more
He worked on developing the city of Curitiba by being a member of the planning team. He has developed projects that serve the disadvantaged and poor bringing information technology to educational and work programs in Brazil. He starts the day by waking up at 6 p.m. and exercising. Later he eats breakfast and reads the latest news from newspapers and magazines on his tablet to keep current.
